Quickoffice has unveiled the latest version of its pocket office suite for the S60 platform.
The suite of MS Office compatible apps allows office documents to be viewed and edited on S60 mobiles. The new version 6.0 is intended to provide support for file storage on ‘cloud’ computing networks such as iDisk, Amazon’s S3 and Apple’s MobileMe as well as integration into corporate networking environments including Microsoft Sharepoint server.
The app suite will also add full support for Office 2007 docx xlsx and ppt files. The suite will be released in the first quarter of 2009.
