Get in trouble with the wife/girlfriend in the run up to Christmas or stuck for a present idea - even if it is only November?
Sagem might have come to your rescue with a cheap handset aimed at women. The my411cv is a clamshell version of the already-released my411v, but all you need to know is that it’s white with pink trim, it’s on Vodafone and it’s cheap at only £40 prepay from Woolworths.
But is it any good? Well, it has a VGA camera, music player (but needs a microSD memory card) and is loaded with five games, more of which can be downloaded from Vodafone Live!

Christmas? Already? Well, we suppose it is September; you can hear the marketing machines being cranked-up as autumn approaches. Anyway, Vodafone has seized the moment to announce its full Christmas line-up, which includes Nokia’s boosted N95 8GB (centre above), the Sony Ericsson W910i (which we spotted on its store a couple of weeks ago), and Samsung’s slip-sliding SGH-F700V (above right).
Alongside the power trio above, there is also BlackBerry’s Curve 8310 and Pearl 8100, the latter being an ‘exclusive version’ with built-in GPS. Voda is using the Christmas range to promote its new HSDPA services, with a selection of 13 handsets able to support the new high-speed 3G. And of course, there’s yesterday’s announcement of the new MusicStation store deal with Omnifone.
