Tabbed browsing for Windows Mobile with Web Viewer

web viewerI can’t imagine web browsing without tabs anymore. There is something so useful about being able to keep all your open web pages in the same place, and just letting links open in the background while you carry on reading the current page.

Web Viewer is a freeware Windows Mobile app that tries to bring tabbed browsing to the mobile web. As Pocket Internet Explorer won’t let you open more than one window at a time, being able to browse several sites at once in different tabs is a big step forwards.

WebViewer actually uses Pocket IE to render the pages which is good news if you like IE, bad news if you were hoping this would be a clone of Firefox.

You can download it here providing you have Windows Mobile 5 or 6 and .NET Compact Framework 2.0. It’s not perfect but it’s definitely a good effort - and certainly not bad at all for free.
