Fresh from Nokia today is the Nokia 6212 classic, a 3G offering featuring integrated Near Field Communication (NFC). Basically NFC allows you to share content, access services and information as well as conduct payments and ticketing with a bare minimum of fuss.
A simple example of how this works on a practical level that Nokia gives is that you could tap your handset with someone else’s NFC capable handset in order to send a picture or a business card. The function can also be used to receive and send other larger types of content such as audio and video files.
