What with the launch of the iPhone in the UK and moving to a new server, we have been a little on the busy side lately which has meant that our weekly look at the mobile games doing the rounds on our sister site Pocket Gamer has fallen by the wayside somewhat. So without further delay it’s time for a brief round-up of the big name titles that have delighted and disappointed over the last two weeks.
Unfortunately for you lot good things don’t come to those who wait as the game that opens this round-up is the decidedly limp Crash of the Titans. It certainly had the looks, but the gameplay just didn’t match up for this side-scrolling brawler leaving it with a disappointing 5 out of 10.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 on the other hand was deserving of the its hype with elegant controls and more importantly, a feel that is consistent with the much loved console versions. A triumph then and well placed at 9 out of 10.
