Presumably anyone who rushed out to get an iPhone on an 18-month contract, didn’t have fast 3G mobile internet connections at the top of their list of priorities.
Well, hopefully anyway, as it’s emerged that Apple might release 3G iPhones in Europe as early as mid-2008, according to Spanish paper El Pais.
The newspaper reported claims by a Spanish mobile software developer SevenClick, that Telefonica is expecting 3G iPhones to make an appearance next May.
So why is this important to us in the UK? Well of course Telefonica is the parent company of O2, Apple’s partner here in the UK.
