Van Der Led WM2 - the watch phone you can actually wear

van-der-leer-mw2-440.jpgWatch phones seem to be gathering a bit of presence in the mobile industry just now with more and more devices that few people will ever buy, making themselves known.

This latest offering however, dubbed the Van Der Led WM2 (which we spotted on engadget mobile) is a watch phone that is compact enough to actually wear and pretty compelling at the price point. Where most watch phones are about as inconspicuous as attaching a luminous pink meter wide satellite receiver to your face, the WM2 is an impressively sleek device with it’s keys cunningly mapped to the strap. But its the spec sheet that really pushes the envelope for something so compact.

Sporting a 1.3 inch TFT color touchscreen, a 1.3MP camera, incoming call vibration, FM radio, Bluetooth, 1G memory card, Mp3 and Mp4 support, GPRS, WAP and 240 hours of stand by time or 300mins of talk time this thing is absolutely armed to the teeth (or wrist if you like).

Not only that, but it can tell the time too! Not at all bad for 299 Euros simlock free.
