They are coming thick and fast today. Sony Ericsson has announced at the Mobile World Congress the launch of the Z770 clamshell web focused handset.
The device is packing HSDPA connectivity for blisteringly fast web browsing. Not only that but it also has Microsoft Exchange and Google Maps built in making email retrieval and navigation a cinch.
The device only houses a 2.0 megapixel camera but it does have 2.5 x digital zoom as well as picture blogging built in. It seems like a slightly low spec business phone to us more so than anything else. It doesn’t have the media punch to capture the youth crowd who want to be able to check their mail on the move and though Microsoft Exchange support will be enticing for some moderate business users, the absence of a QUERTY could put many more off.
Still, the Z770 is at least a nice looking handset and at 91 grams, is relatively compact too.
